1) place the file (visavslaser.dll) into the plugins directory of winamp within program files. 2) open winamp 2) goto options/visualizations/select plugins 4) on the left you have the list of options, in the plugins folder theres visualizations, this should be selected already, in the right list you should see the visavslaser.dll plugin. Advanced Visualization Studio (AVS), is a music visualization plugin for Winamp. It was designed by Winamp creator, Justin Frankel and was first shipped in version 2.0a4 with Winamp 2.61. AVS has a customizable design which allows users to create their own visualization effects, or 'presets'.

Bounce around with Mega Man as you rock out to your music. Mega Man will move and jump around, and even shoot to the music!
Several scenes are featured, with each of the main classic Mega Man games (except for Mega Man 7, Mega Man 8, and Mega Man & Bass) represented by two. Some scenes are single rooms while others scroll endlessly in both directions (or downwards in one case).
To make up for the lack of Mega Man 7, 8, & Bass representation, an extra large scene representing the three areas of the retro mini-game 'Mega Man a' from Mega Man ZX Advent is also featured.
It's finally here! My Mega Man visualization for Winamp's AVS plug-in is pretty much ready to go! I first worked on it around 2007, before the computer's hard drive it was on crashed. I started recreating it in about 2010, and then left it in the dust before picking it back up again in the recent months. It's taken me quite a while to put together, especially the basic platforming engine, Mega Buster shooting, and the music detection.
Once you download it, there's a small installation guide in the .zip file which should hopefully tell you how to set everything up.
Mega Man is also controllable. A and D moves him left and right, W makes him jump, and E shoots his Mega Buster. If he's left alone for a approximately 15 seconds, he reverts back to being AI controlled again. Have fun!
EDIT: Forgot to mention! Pressing SHIFT and CTRL will cycle between the scenes without having to reload the preset.
And here are some more screenshots showing some more scenes:

Last weekend i've been to Berlin where i was at the 'Deutsches Technikmuseum'.
From November 2008 to July 2009 there's a special exhibition called mathema Is Mathematics the Language of Nature?
I can only very recommend it. If you and yours plan a trip to Berlin and you're interested in math and science, the museum is a must-visit!
Next to the special exhibition there's also to see the first mechanical computer from Konrad Zuse, the Z1, and some of their bigger electronic brothers. They might be not very fast but they all can handle floating point arithmetics - pretty foresighting if you ask me.
But what was really new to me, was that digital processing is originated in the automation of weaving. Not that i try to build a bridge to the string
